What am I covered for?
Insurance can be a bit nerdy, and let's be honest, sometimes it might sound a bit complicated, but our track day insurance policy is very simple.
A starting point is always with the IPID (Insurance Product Information Document). This is a standardized summary of an insurance policy that provides key information to consumers in a clear and easy-to-understand format. It aims to help people make more informed decisions when buying or comparing insurance products. Always make sure to read the IPID and terms and conditions.

Our trackday insurance is designed to cover one thing – ACCIDENT (crash / impact) damage to your car while on the circuit. Therefore, you are covered for damage to your car if:
You run out of luck, lock or talent and the barriers, tyre wall, surrounding scenery, marshals’ posts etc. etc. We have even paid a claim for one hapless soul who crashed in the pit lane before making it to the track!!
Another driver happens to have their “moment” and collides with you causing damage to your car. No need to confront the other driver, we will take care of all the bits that are bent on your car. Tell the driver you hope they had insurance for their damage and that you use MORIS.
Accident following a mechanical failure. If a component breaks suddenly on your car that immediately causes you to lose control and crash, again we pay for all the bits that get bent in the impact.
(A little bit technical: The track day insurance is NOT a mechanical warranty policy, so the insurers do not pay for the bits that broke.)
Fire damage – but ONLY following collision. Fires are very rare, but road engines being driven hard on racetracks generate a lot of heat which can sometimes lead to fires.
(A little bit technical: Unlike a regular motor insurance policy that may cover fire following ANY cause, a track day policy only covers ACCIDENT. Therefore, fire damage is only covered following impact – not mechanical failure).
You hit another car. Well, this certainly makes you “Mr. Popular” for the day, and again we cover the cost of any bits damaged on your car, BUT there is no cover for any other driver’s car.
(A little bit technical: There is no third-party cover with track day insurance. This means damage caused to other drivers’ cars is not something we cover, or you can be liable for).
